Poker Nights - Where are we
playin'?
It's
true, not everyone's place is a good poker venue! Here are
the things you need to look for, in rough order of importance:
-
Location - Is it central
enough that everyone can make it conveniently? A long
drive can kill a poker night, with people dropping it at the
last minute.
-
Parking or Public
Transportation - How are people getting
there? Make sure their needs are accommodated!
-
Noise - Make sure there
are no family members, roommates, or neighbors who'd be
annoyed by a game that goes late, with lots of cheers for
dramatic hands...
-
Pets - Watch out for allergies!
-
Table - Is there a good table to play
at, and plenty of seating? Round tables are always best,
but make sure they're big enough for everyone.
Got a good place in mind now? Good - now
let's figure out When...
